Gee where is Matthew Westerhold??

The guy seems to be lying low the past couple of days, guess he is a little paranoid,
The Ohioans For Concealed Carry, & the Buckeye Firearms Assoc. along with members of the NRA, & Ohio CHL holders have called him to task.

We are learning a lot about Matthew, property that he owns, his divorce, where his child goes to school etc. After all what harm in listing in CHL names etc, it's in the public interest. So I guess all those folks are the public, it's good to know more about Matthew.

You know Matthew you could make this all go away by taking the lists off your website. But if harm comes to one person on that list, it will haunt you the rest of life. Whoops, sorry you have to have a soul to be haunted by your own wrong doing.

But Matthew is a second rate journalist, that can't get on with a "Real" paper, and likely only important in his own mind.

So in his wee mind he is doing a public service by letting all the other lambs know where & who the Sheepdogs are. But the funny thing the Sheepdogs are not the ones he should fear.

Of course years ago I was in the publishing business, (Freelance) I know they run on ads, most don't care how many copies they sell, or give away, it is the ad dollar that counts!

This morning I received the following from Herman-Kinn Funeral Homes (General Email) [general@hermankinn.com]
We have canceled our advertising in the Sandusky Register.
We also have the word of an Auto repair shop that they have dropped them also.
See Matt you didn't just get the attention in your area, but even out of state, why even Michelle Malkin has mentioned you, it will end when the list come down.

Matt Westerhold is a Sheep!

He bleats & bleats, because the Sheepdogs scare him so badly! Matt can not tell the difference between a sheepdog & a wolf.
For those that don't understand what I'm writing here read the excellent article written by LT Col Dave Grossman http://www.killology.com/sheep_dog.htm

The sheep fear the sheep dog, as we can look a lot like the wolf! Although Matt seems to have at least some education, he is an editor after all.........I regress.
He cannot tell the difference.

Perhaps he has a fear of weapons, & Freud made references in reguard to those who fear weapons, I will let the reader look into that.

Mr Westerhold is crying foul now!, he fired the first round across our bow.
Little did he know the firestorm he had unleashed, would come back upon him.
I guess he figured we would react like sheep, & run bleating across the pasture.
But when you bite a sheepdog it just pisses him off & he bites back.

If Mr Westerhold, really wants to serve the public, & wants to inform the public, there are better endeavors than trying to reveal who has a CHL.
Hell everybody that knows me, know I have mine. So what service has been rendered to those that don't know me?

I'm sure Matt would sleep better every night if we were perhaps required to wear a scarlet letter, so in the public realm we could be ID'ed.
That would be commendable, as then the wolves could readily ID the sheep, & leave the warriors in peace.

Since this idiot felt he must post the names of CHL holders in 5 counties in Ohio, & feels everything should be made public, well here are his public records, thanks to the Buckeye Firearms Assocation.
According to Public Records:

Editor Matt Westerhold, born on November 5, 1958, owns 322 Deepwood Lane, Amherst, Ohio 44001. Matt purchased this house on April 28, 2005 for $124,900 and borrowed $123,920 from Union National Mortgage Company to finance the purchase.

It is not clear if Matt actually lives in this house, because he claims a residence in Sandusky, Ohio.

Interestingly, this picture (obtained, of course, from public record) appears to show Matt’s blue 2003 Chevy Tracker in the garage, license plate # DA*xxxx (*redacted for privacy concerns). Matt was operating this vehicle on September 1, 2006 in Oberlin when the Ohio State Highway Patrol pulled him over for speeding. Matt was cited for failure to wear a seat belt and was warned about his speed.

By the way he also made the statement the NRA should Back OFF!, the NRA is not involved, except for the 4 million members that may take acception to his comments.

The Sandusky Register has deemed it important to list CHL holders, as their readers right to know.
The list is still posted on the internet as of today, I have not provided the link.
But should you like to enlighten the editor his email is:
mattwesterhold@sanduskyregister.com
He is the managing editor

Follow this link to see how the action goes against the paper:

It is my thought that the only time journalist's need this information is when a license holder uses the firearm in public (correctly /or incorrectly)
While they seem to want to protect the ID of ex-cons, & child molesters, they have no re guard or respect for law abiding citizens

Amazing this past week in Cincinnati there were 14 people shot in addition to 2 killed in 5 days, yet are we getting any calls for CCW courses.
LT Col Dave Grossman is right when he says most people are sheep, living in denial.

May be taking the training on the road in the near future, Brian at ITC has asked me to assit him in training advanced, his new DVD "Fight" pushes movement, (which is wise in a gunfight), & use of martial arts.
But I told him I'd lay out the course outline, in a form everybody could work with. So that will keep me busy for a few days.

As usual the call for CCW courses is like a yoyo. Although from what I hear on the news the bad guys are not slowing down.
