Killed by Car Accidents

Highway fatalities account for more than 94% of all transportation deaths. There were an estimated 6,289,000 car accidents in the US in 1999. There were about 3.4 million injuries and 41,611 people killed in auto accidents in 1999.

My Goodness when will we simply pass reasonable "Car Control Laws"?
No one needs 350 horsepower!! "Extreme Vehicles" need to be controlled!
Some cars can get from zero to 60 miles per hour in just seconds, there are children out there at risk!
If the power to use such performance is there people are going to use it, isn't it time for some common sense car control laws?
