Simple Math

USA 1.4 Million violent crimes, population 300 million
http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2006/offenses/violent_crime/index.html
Britain 2.6 million violent crimes, population 62 million

England has strict gun controls
USA has the Right to Keep & Bear Arms

USA .0046 crime rate Britain .419 crime rate

So if we install millions of cameras, enact strict gun control laws we could be just like Britain.

Not to be picky, but can you cite your source. I like the numbers, but my wife is a librarian and does not give any argument value until she knows the source of the data being used to support the argument.
