Louis Awerbuck got pretty het-up and had a long harangue about the state of ammo in my "Stage-1" class. How he/we shouldn't/wouldn't immediately fault the shooter if *stuff* happened - it would likely be bad ammo. That since ATK took-over most ammo production facilities incl Federal, Quality-Control has plummeted. How Speer Lawman has gone to Teh Suck, Winchester white-box looks like a ski-slope of varying OAL's, and much of most commercial/affordable "blasting ammo" is just riddled with fail. He still likes Fiocchi and Black Hills and Hornady though.
